When I am writing this post, I am in de middle of designing the website for Digital Nomads on Tour. Since my online business is all about building, designing and maintaining websites, I want it to look real sharp.
When you want a website to look attractive to your audience, you need to throw in some pictures. In my case, I want people to see the websites I made and the websites my students made. This way they can get an idea of the possibilities for their website.
Of course I could have made some screen prints of those websites, but I thought that would be a bit boring. So I decided to use mockups. If you don’t know what mockups are, let me tell you. Mockups are pictures that can showcase your own design. In my case, I use a lot of laptops and other digital products in a nice setting.
When you want to add your own design to an existing picture, it can take up a lot of your time. But I have some excellent news. I found a tool that is so easy to use, anyone can do it. The only thing you need is your design or the link to the website you want to be shown. That’s it!
So for instance I used this picture for one of the websites I made:
Then I added the link:
Then I clicked on Capture and there you have it:
You can download your design in different sizes. Isn’t it awesome?
If you want to try it for yourself, you can do it here. They have a 7 day free trial to see if this tool works for you. It sure does for me!
